  1. Plug device into the HTC wall charger for at least 20 mins
  2. While still on the charger, press and hold the Power key for 15 seconds
  3. If the issue persists, press and hold Power, Volume up and Volume down keys for up to 1 minute
  4. select "reboot" from the menu if prompted
