So you bought an iPhone, now we need to get it set up.

>> Important do not attempt to configure your email through iTunes

Firstly install iTunes from the web here http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

Next you need to connect your phone and check for updates (if available) update the phone to the latest version of the phones operating system then proceed with the steps below.

Configuring Email:

  1. Launch the email application from the home screen
  2. Select "Microsoft Exchange" for email
  3. Enter your email address This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
  4. Leave the Domain blank
  5. Enter your user name in the format FirstNameLastName
  6. Enter your password
  7. Click next
  8. If prompted click continue
  9. After a short delay the server name will be required this is remote.yourdomain.com.au
  10. Click next
  11. Turn all options on mail, calendar and contacts
  12. Then "Save"
  13. Accept/Allow the security certificate to load (you may get a prompt during install)

Note: it takes 15-30 mins for the iPhone to load data from the server please be patient
